About me
My background is in 3D printing and material development for dental applications—from printable resin formulation and process optimization to the CAD/CAM workflows that connect digital design to clinical delivery, including exocad-based prosthetic routines.
I've also built periapical image segmentation models and implant stability prediction pipelines from scratch, giving me a grounded understanding of where AI adds real value in clinical workflows and where it falls short.
With five years of bachelor's training in stomatology and six years of hands-on experience dialing in 3D printing parameters and material properties during doctoral and postdoctoral training, my focus has always been on whether a digital workflow delivers results that are clinically reliable and materially sound.

Investigated the effects of varying resin formulations and component ratios on the mechanical properties and cytotoxicity of 3D-printed materials.
Developed a DMAHDM-based flexible 3D-printable antimicrobial resin with excellent elastic recovery by customizing resin composition to achieve a suitable Tg and optimizing printing parameters.
Developed a fully automated AI pipeline trained on real patient records, integrating an image segmentation model and XGBoost regression to identify tooth anatomical structures in periapical radiographs and predict implant stability (ISQ).

Synthesized a fluoride-releasing complex and successfully incorporated it into a urethane acrylate-based resin, demonstrating a potent anti-S. mutans effect and sustained fluoride ion release over a one-month observation period.
Synthesized DMAHDM (dimethylaminohexadecyl methacrylate) as the antimicrobial agent and incorporated it into a urethane acrylate-based resin, showing excellent anti-S. mutans and anti-C. albicans activity maintained after 5,000 thermocycling cycles.
Collaborated in developing a dimensionless computational metric for objective smile classification to support AI-driven digital smile design automation.
